These sanding pads are ideal for sanding curved or irregular surfaces such as decorative mouldings, pipes and railings, which can be trickier with paper based abrasives. The abrasive is mounted onto a foam filling that flexes with the contours of the surface, staying in constant contact for highly efficient sanding with no missed spots. Particularly suited to previously coated and bare wood and metal but just as good on other surfaces, the pads are double sided, can be used wet and dry and the high quality aluminium oxide has much better clog resistance and lasts significantly longer than sandpaper.
