EPDM Contact Adhesive 5 Litres Solvent Based Adhesive with Instant, 'Strong Grab' Coverage per 5 Litre Can is 10M² This premium epdm contact adhesive is a ready-for-use contact adhesive for adhering EPDM and Butyl membranes to dry substrates (such as wood, concrete and metals). It is designed to be applied with a stiff brush to both surfaces, with pressure then applied using a steel roller. Contact adhesive 5000 provides an excellent adhesion on many materials, such as EPDM/Butyl rubber, hard PVC, acrylic glass, SVS, RVS, stone, concrete, light weight concrete, lead, wood and bituminous substrates. The substrates must be clean, free from oil and grease, and dry. Wet substrates or substrates covered with moisture must be dried by means of hot air before adhering. Contact Adhesive Application Temperature This contact adhesive must only be processed in dry weather conditions at temperatures of at least + 5 °C. The material and the base to be glued must also be dry and clean. In temperatures between +5 °C to +15 °C the manufacturer advises that the adhesive be warmed to ensure it reaches and maintains a temperature of +15 °C when it is being applied.
