Once dry, you can lift, erase, smudge, or draw over, to add finer details. Activate the paints with a wet brush and experiment with the levels of water used for concentrated and diluted mixes. Use less water for deeper, thicker gouache-like colour application, or use more water for paler washes. All the paint colours in this set are intermixable, so see what shadows, highlights, and contrasts you can produce.
