Denso Tape 150mm x 10M Cold Applied Anti-Corrosion Petrolatum Tape Denso Tape Denso Tape is the industry leading anti corrosion tape as used by British Gas for sealing underground joints against moisture. Denso Tape will protect pipes, fittings and similar structures from corrosion above the ground, below the ground and even if they are immersed. It is a cold applied tape, based on a synthetic fabric which is impregnated and coated with a neutral petrolatum compound and inert siliceous fillers. It is non-hardening and non-cracking. It is highly resistant to mineral acids, alkali's, salts and micro-organisms and highly impermeable to water, water vapour and gases. Used for the protection of buried or exposed pipes, rods, cables, valves and metal fittings from corrosion. *For buried applications apply this tape with a 55% overlap to provide double thickness.
