THE BATTERY FIGHTER SERIES has been designed for use in domestic and commercial environments for the safe storage and charging of Lithium-Ion batteries. Rechargeable batteries present many risks including thermal runaway caused by a rise in temperature, impact damage or faulty manufacture. This can result in the battery igniting and causing a fire explosion that can be extremely difficult to extinguish and cause major damage to life and buildings.
Suitable for the storage and charging of the following battery types – power tools, garden tools, e-bikes/scooters, drones, laptop, mobile phone, plus your standard household rechargeable batteries AAA, AA, Type C, Type D, 9V.
FIRE PROTECTION – Tested to Swedish NT Fire 017-90 Paper (BS0441 & BS0442), NT Fire 017-120 Paper (BS0444), providing up to 120 minutes fire protection for paper documents.
DROP TEST – Fire and impact tested from 9.1 metres for resistance to the impact of falling through the burning floors of a building.
CONSTRUCTION – Double wall construction with internal fill of our patented Styronite F insulation, provide a cabinet of great strength and fire/heat resistance.
CHARGING – Safely charge your Lithium batteries using the fitted power points – BS0441, 2 Double PDUs, 4 sockets, BS0442, 3 Double PDUs, 6 sockets, BS0443, 4 Double PDUs, 8 sockets.
LOCKING – Fitted with an advanced high security electronic lock with scrambled code as standard.
SECURITY PROTECTION – The safe is recommended for an overnight cash risk of £2,500 or £25,000 valuables.
FIXING – Ready prepared for floor fixing, with fixing bolts for concrete floors supplied.
FEATURES – All models are supplied with internal key hooks and a pull-out drawer. All models also benefit from height adjustable shelves.
COLOUR – Finished in a high-quality scratch resistant white paint RAL9003.
OPTIONAL – INTERNAL TEMPERATURE MONITOR – For enhanced safety, the cabinet can be fitted with an external temperature display and alarm, this gives an accurate internal temperature reading and early warning of a potential issue with a battery overheating.
